Hello L. David,

May is abloom with recreational fun in the great outdoors. From overnight campouts to catch-and-release fishing, Gwinnett offers a variety of family-friendly events to enjoy!

Join us for Kids to Parks Day!
Did you know you can boost your well-being by simply going outside? From physical and cognitive to social and emotional development, outdoor play is essential to children reaching milestones as they grow.

Kids to Parks Day is the perfect time to tap into the power of nature! Organized by National Park Trust, this annual campaign connects kids and families with local, state, and national parks and public lands through thousands of events that promote outdoor discovery and exploration.

Here in Gwinnett, we’ve got more than 50 parks to check out, plus free Kids to Parks Day events at several locations on Saturday, May 18 from 10:00am to 1:00pm with games, crafts, and activities. Don’t miss this opportunity to spark wonder, fuel imaginations, and ignite a love of the natural world!
