The school officially opened on Monday, August 10, 2009, with enrollment topping 1,200 students. As of the 2019–2020 school year Archer HS has an enrollment of over 2,800 students. Even with a large student body, Archer has focused on and has been very successful building a tradition of both academic and athletic excellence and will continue that tradition into the future.
Our mission is to provide a positive, stimulating, safe environment which focuses on learning, the application of knowledge, and the acquisition of lifelong skills. McConnell Middle School, which has won awards at the state and national levels, exemplifies the success that a school focused on teaching and learning can experience.
