October 2024

Hello Great River at Tribble Mill HOA

Fall into fun with sweet treats for everyone! Gwinnett’s October activities feature a skate party for kids, cosplay fun run for families, a murder mystery dinner for adults, a health fair for seniors, and so much more!

Discover the Secrets of Our Historical Sites

If you love local history, visit the Isaac Adair House and the Lawrenceville Female Seminary, two of Gwinnett’s treasured sites adjacently located in downtown Lawrenceville.

Named after its original occupant, Isaac Adair, an early county settler and surveyor, this two-story house was built around 1827, has changed hands several times, been relocated twice for preservation, and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Seminary, originally a finishing school for young women in the 1830s, was rebuilt after a fire in 1855. It later served as a Masonic lodge, a community civic center, and a radio station. Today, the second floor houses the Gwinnett History Museum, filled with fascinating artifacts.

Explore the charm of the 1800s at Sips and Spirits, an exclusive event for adults ages 21 and older, on Saturday, October 26 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. For just $26, enjoy historical exhibits, lively music, dancing, games, and a selection of adult beverages and refreshments.
