Last week, participants in our Citizens Police Academy were busy! They attempted the obstacle course to see if they had the physical agility to join as a police recruit, encountered and made decisions on how they would address several different scenarios that our officers experience each day, and provided testimonials of their CPA experience.

We'll be accepting applications soon for our spring class, so check out GCGA.us/CitizensPoliceAcademy for more information.

Flag football coach Duvall Braxton said of her, "Devyn was our team captain this year.  She was all-region for the second time this year. She led our team in interceptions and was second in touchdowns. She was our vocal leader both on and off the field.”

Andrew Schnupp, Archer

"Celebrating Our Neighbor"
Krystal Moorehead

Krystal is a senior and the Captain of the Archer Varsity Football Cheerleader team. She has been a varsity football cheerleader all four years while at Archer. Krystal has also participated in competitive cheerleading in the 9th -11th grade, where her teams have won many national titles.
During her time on the competitive team she was awarded MVP (Most Valuable Player) of her team.

Last week was senior week at Archer. All Senior Football cheerleaders had their yard decorated with a sign, balloon and a bow on the mailbox.  Krystal was recognized, along with all Varsity football players, cheerleaders and band members, during the pregame festivities before the Archer vs South Gwinnett game.
After high school, Krystal plans to attend an Historically Black College or University to major in criminal justice, to become an FBI agent.

We are so proud of the achievements of our neighbors, so please let us know if there is someone that we all should celebrate together.
