"This is the place to Catch Up on what is happening in Great River at Tribble Mill."

First Things First

...Thanks to all of our neighbors and the HOA Board of Directors for having such a successful Trunk or Treat this year. We would love to hear your comments. Send them to GRTMBoard@gmail.com.

Did You Know That

...we have a new neighborhood Instagram page? Instagram.com/GRTMHOA

...on our Blog, www.GreatRiverTribbleMill.com/GRTM-Blog/, you can see most of the posts from our social media pages as well as additional, neighborhood specific information. It is also open to the public.

... on our website, GreatRiverTribbleMill.com, under the Home Menu, there is a new dropdown menu for New Neighbors. It will take you to the Important Documents section of our website. The first item on that page is a Welcome Neighbors - Get Acquainted section. It is a great way to get connected to all things Great River. There is a lot of information for both new neighbors and existing neighbors that may not have ever received this information in the past.

Reminders

Complain and Suggest To Get Results
A very typical situation in most neighborhoods, is that complaints and suggestions are sent down indirect paths and dead ends.
The Great River at Tribble Mill HOA Board of Directors has really tried to give our neighbors as many direct pathways as possible. If you have complaints or suggestions on how our neighborhood can be better, make sure that your voice is heard. Here are the best vehicles of communications to use.

- Attend the Monthly Board Meetings (first Thursday of every month) - GreatRiverTribbleMill.com/Upcoming-Events
*Due to our neighborhood size, you must register, on our website, to attend

 - Attend The Annual Neighborhood Meeting - The past attendance has been embarrassingly low.

- Go to our Website - GreatRiverTribbleMill.com for information

- Contact the Board through the website - GreatRiverTribbleMill.com/Contact-Us/
*There is also a Send To: "Neighborhood Watch - Confidential" there as well

- Read this monthly newsletter, Time To Catch Up that is emailed to you and is on the website.

-Go to our Social Media pages, as mentioned above, for information and to contact the Board

Fight those Weeds and Strengthen your Grass
Even though it is getting colder and taking care of your lawn is the last thing on your mind, don't forget to put pre-emergence and fertilizer on your lawns so they will be even better in the spring.

If you need help, have a question, a suggestion, an idea, or a comment about our neighborhood, the best and fastest way to get an answer and results is to email the Board at GRTMBoard@gmail.com.

Things That Are Happening

If you have used a contractor, business or service, and you would like to share them with our neighbors and our community, just add them to our Great River Business Directory. It is open to the public. This is not an endorsement by Great River at Tribble Mill's HOA, but it is a great way to share first hand information and reviews and supply contact information.

Suspicious Activity
If you see or hear any suspicious activity and want the fastest appropriate action, please contact the police at 770-513-5700.
Contacting the board would just be another unnecessary step and would slow down the process.

Always Remember **New and continuing section of information for reference

Improvement Request: Before any work can begin on your house or property, an Improvement Request must be completed and approved. There is a $450 fine and a daily fine for beginning all work before it has been approved.

"Don't freak out and Get Angry about a Violation!"
We know that many of you think that the board and our management company just love to send out violations. That couldn't be any further from the truth. We hate it, but we do have a primary responsibility to all of our neighbors to fairly and equally uphold our covenants.

If you get a violation notice, "Don't freak out and Get Angry!" Take a look at the violation and see if you feel it is justified. If you don't feel that it is, send an email to GRTMBoard@gmail.com stating why you don't think it is and you will be contacted to try to resolve it quickly.

If you are having extenuating circumstances, please let us know as well. We want to help.

If you think that one of your neighbors are violating the covenants, email us and we will look into it.

In a covenanted neighborhood, like ours, we are all in this together. We all want a comfortable, safe, clean and well maintained neighborhood. It makes us happy, increases our quality of life and will help maintain our property's value. The board is the caretaker of that desire and commitment but it is every neighbor's responsibility.

Our Covenants, Rule and Regulations, Improvement Requests for Property Modifications and processes on how to use them are on our website at GreatRiverTribbleMill.com/Documents/ for your use.

Look out for each other: It will make our neighborhood a safer and better place to live.
