Celebrate Black History Month with Gwinnett
Gwinnett County invites you to celebrate Black History Month at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center! This year’s theme is Black Arts and Culture in Gwinnett. During the month of February, we will commemorate the achievements, contributions, and history of Gwinnett’s Black residents, and how the use of music, dance, literature, poetry, and more compose a beautiful and awe-inspiring story about the Black experience in Gwinnett and the greater United States.
Explore our Black History Month Exhibit, which will be open to the public for the entire month of February during normal business hours in the GJAC Atrium. Then, join us for an evening of music, food, and dance at our Black History Month Celebration on Tuesday, February 20 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Reserve your spot for this year’s celebration at GwinnettCounty.com/BHMCelebration.
